Since our creation, UIA has become a leader in personal artist management. With over 100 years of combined experience in the entertainment industry, the UIA team’s dedication to cultivating unique talent and efficiency in dealing with the complexities of the artist management field have become the gold standard for artist managers worldwide. After developing an international roster of over 100 artists including singers, conductors, stage directors, and designers, 2014 saw the expansion of UIA’s business with the establishment of our Film/Television/Theater division. This expansion broadened UIA’s horizons considerably, allowing us to offer top-rate talent for nearly any performance opportunity.
Our balanced roster allows us to develop strong, trusted relationships with industry professionals of all types and levels. UIA represents a dynamic roster of talent who are engaged at leading opera houses and symphony orchestras, on Broadway, in Hollywood, and everywhere in between. Many of our directors and conductors hold leadership positions at organizations throughout the world. We also have an exclusive roster of the finest emerging artists, recently graduated from leading educational institutions, young artist programs, and apprenticeships. This type of diversity makes UIA the favorite one-stop firm for any and all casting needs.
UIA’s Film/Television/Theater division allows us to take advantage of the evolution of our industry and provide greater opportunities for our clients. With opera companies producing musicals, symphonies presenting pops concerts, an increased involvement of music in film, and classical musical theater/operetta appearing on Broadway, we are poised to utilize our experience and network to provide solutions for producers, engagements for our clients, and pave the way for the future of the performing arts. Our unique eye for talent provides casting directors with the types of artists the entertainment market demands in this fast-paced and exciting field. The diversity of our roster allows us to fill the full range of niches, and is comprised of actors, singers, dancers, narrators, music directors, choreographers, and even published authors of varied ages and ethnicities.
In 2015, we opened our subsidiary, UIA Presents, offering packages with complete casting solutions from one artist, to a complete cast, musicians, creative team, and already designed production elements. This was recently demonstrated in our partnership with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and a semi-staged production of Porgy and Bess, for which we provided the entire principal cast and creative team. This model can be adapted to meet the needs, existing structure and budgetary constraints of any presenter, bringing high-level artistry to audiences all over the world with a highly-effective method that takes all of the pressure off of the presenter. Genres and repertoire can be customized and include holiday concerts, specialty acts, Broadway musicals, operas, revue shows, and more.
In the midst of growth we haven’t lost sight of our beginnings: maintaining a roster of the finest classical vocalists, stage directors, and conductors appearing in esteemed houses around the globe. With a continually expanding presence in Europe, Australia, and South America, UIA artists are gaining recognition for leading performances spanning the entire repertoire from critically acclaimed world premières, to audience favorites of the standard opera canon, to cutting-edge contemporary works. Our Symphonic division continued to expand its reaches this season, booking our artists at over 100 international symphony orchestras and delighting audiences globally, often providing a complete set of soloists for favorites such as Händel’s Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Verdi’s Requiem.

We leverage our vast network to offer the highest level of personalized attention to our artists and maintain strong working relationships based on trust and experience with presenters and producers in all areas of the performing arts.
